Gas Fired 600 Gallon Tank Hot Water Heater Removal and Replacement. A. Removal of existing gas fired 600 gallon tanked Water heater located at ACRJ. B. Contractors will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing gas fired 600 gallon water heater. C. The equipment shall be replaced with rack style multi Tankless water heaters to meet the existing service requirements/needs of the facility. D. The system shall be installed in the location of the existing gas fired 600 gallon water heater. E. The system shall be installed and supported as per manufactures recommendation. F. All gas, domestic cold/hot water will be extended to be connected to existing utilities. G. The system shall include replacement of existing re-circulation pump to include relocating the pump to improve serviceability. H. Contractors include any and all permits or inspections necessary for the work performed. I. Contractors will be required to make all necessary gas and water connections to include pressure testing. Make all necessary electrical connections to provide power to the tankless water heaters. J. Contractors will be required to insulate and label all new piping. K. Contractors will install new vent piping to the exterior of the boiler room as required by manufactures recommendation. L. Contractors will commission the new system to ensure equipment is operational and working correctly. M. Prices on all materials quoted shall include all overhead fees. N. All work will be conducted during ACRJ normal business hours Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600 unless prior arrangements have been made with ACRJ Chief of Facilities.
