Renovation of an educational facility in London, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This RFP will define the requirements from Huron University College for the supply and installation of furniture into student residence rooms in a new residence building currently under construction on Huron's campus. Students are required to be moved into the new residence starting in August 2024 and thus the residence needs to be setup and ready to accept these students in July 2024. The new residence has 311 student rooms requiring furniture with the following breakdown: - 300 rooms with a shared washroom between paired rooms (5 of these rooms require barrier free furniture solutions) - 11 suites for Dons (senior, supervisory students) which have a bedroom and a small living room The successful vendor shall be expected to complete the following scope as part of the execution of this RFP: 1. Complete a final selection and materials review with Huron at time of finalizing the Purchase Order. 2. Complete an agreement on delivery and installation timing at time of Purchase Order. This information and adherence to dates will be critical as this will be worked into the larger construction project schedule. 3. Source, manufacture, assemble, etc. the furniture to satisfy the counts and quality standard provided to Huron at time of Purchase Order. 4. Deliver the furniture to Huron's New Residence at the agreed to timelines. a. 1 of the new residence's elevators will be dedicated for furniture movements during delivery & installation weeks b. Drawing A201 shows the proposed unloading location and path to access elevator. c. Stairwells can be used as the vendor desires. 5. Place all furniture in rooms detailed in provided room layout drawings and furniture list. 6. Clean up work areas and remove all waste and recycling from site after installation and placement are completed. 7. Warranty furniture and provide labour and part support for furniture defects under warranty.
