Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Municipal & Public Works. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Such actions shall be in accordance with the Louisiana R.S. 38:2214. The attention of bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, (Davis-Bacon Act), Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Livingston Parish no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. 6.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
