All questions regarding the Bid Documents and any substitution requests shall be submitted to KERN ARCHITECTS, attn PHILLIP KERN via Centerline online by 2:00 local time on THURSDAY, JANUARY 4TH. Responses will be posted via Addendum on Electronically by 2:00 PM local time on MONDAY, JANUARY 8TH. A Bid bond will be required, per the contract documents, and should be uploaded with the rest of the required Bid Documents. If a scanned copy of the Bid Bond is uploaded, the original notarized bid bond must be produced "on-demand" per the Owner's request. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof; except as prescribed in R.S. 38:2215B. As a requirement under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2156.2, this project is classified as Building Construction. Contractor shall submit sealed written bid or electronic bid as per the Instructions to Bidders. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Advertisement for Bids and those required on the Bid Form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived. Bidder must comply with provisions of RS 38.2212.10. Construction contract duration shall be 120 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages shall be assessed in the amount of $250.00 per calendar day.
