Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Douglas County Sewer District No. 1. Work to be performed includes: furnishing and installation of protective lining, complete in place, for the interior of three (3) existing steel tanks, including all surface preparation, coating application, touch-up, curing cleanup, and appurtenant work in accordance with the contract documents. Work includes relining three (3) existing pipes penetrating through the tank wall, accessible only from the tank exterior. Bidder's Qualification Requirements: Contractor must show either: a.) experience as prime contractor for at least three (3) similar projects within the last 3 years (two (2) of these projects must include 100% solids systems) and hold an AMPP QP 1 certification, or b.) experience as a prime contractor for at least ten (10) similar projects within the last 10 years if the contractor does not hold an AMPP QP 1 certification (at least three (3) of these projects must include 100% solids systems). Projects listed must have similar and relevant physical components to those of this project. The Owner has absolute final determination if the Contractor's experience is relevant or similar.
