Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in N Merrick, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Department of Public Works desires to procure a firm to design construction plans for roadway and traffic calming improvements along Fulton Avenue, Peninsula Boulevard, Franklin Street, Washington Street and Clinton Street, in the Village of Hempstead. These improvements will include streetscape beautification, entryway creation, installation and repair of sidewalks, curbs, ADA curb ramps, bulb-outs, drainage structures, tree impacts, roadway resurfacing, replacement of pavement markings, improve pedestrian safety, upgrade traffic signal infrastructures, and other incidental work. All questions regarding this RFP s/b submitted in writing, prior to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, to Antoinette Bocca, Project Manager at abocca@nassaucountyny.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
