the following construction project: Chester Frost Park Pavilion ADA Restroom Renovation. The project consists of constructing two new ADA restrooms inside the existing Chester Frost Pavilion located at 2277 Gold Point Circle North, Hixson, TN 37343. The Work of this Contract includes furnishing all supervision, material, equipment, and labor for site work, roadwork, parking lots, walks, and new building construction as required to accomplish the project shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications, complete in every respect. B. The intent of the Drawings and Specifications is for the Contractor to provide a complete, finished project ready for the Owner to take possession. The finished new construction shall be wind and watertight and shall seal out flying insects, birds, rodents, and other vermin. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Work of this Project consists of a constructing two new ADA restrooms inside the existing Chester Frost Pavilion. GC to be responsible for all work related to tying into existing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems as shown on the drawings. The existing Pavilion is to remain open during the duration of this project, work with Owners to maintain access to and fire exits from the existing plant. A. Project includes: 1. New interior walls 2. New toilet accessories 3. New plumbing fixtures 4. New HVAC systems and ductwork 5. New electrical outlets 6. New lighting throughout new restrooms B. Coordination of Owner's work includes: 1. Coordination of telecommunications sub-contractor. 2. Coordination of security sub-contractor. 1.03 PROJECT SCHEDULE: A. There are no incentives for early completion. B. Some work of this Project may require multiple mobilizations throughout the time period of the Work. 1.04 COORDINATION WITH UTILITIES: Coordinate with the following public and/or private utility companies or providers: A. EPB. B. HIXSON UTILITIES 1.05 OTHER PROVISIONS: A. Upon receipt of 'NOTICE' the Contractor will have seven days to provide a schedule of values for each sub-project. B. Protect completed portions of the building from any and all damage related to Construction activities. 1. All cutting, welding and any other Hot Work performed to accomplish the Work of this Project must comply with Federal and State OSHA Regulations. 2. Contractor must provide fire extinguishers, safety plan, fire watch, protective equipment, and anything else necessary to comply with Federal and State OSHA Regulations. C. Dimensions shown are approximate and must be verified by the Contractor from Contractor's onsite measurements. No interpretation of the meaning of the bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to: chadw@hamiltontn.gov Any questions concerning the bid documents must be received by the designer no less than ninety-six (96) hours before bid opening date.
