Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Maryville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The successful bidder will replace two bridges on the Maryville-Alcoa Greenway within Maryville, TN. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount of no lessthan five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to City of Maryville. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amountof one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The project herein described as the base bid is to be completed within 180 calendar days after the date whenthe Contract Time commences to run. Please see the Technical Specifications for further scheduling requirements. Liquidated damages for delay of completion of contract will be in accordance with the Agreement(Contract). All bidders must be able to demonstrate before the award of the contract that the proposer (and subcontractorsif applicable) has all appropriate licenses and certifications required in the State of Tennessee to perform theServices. This project is funded by the City of Maryville. The Contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local laws and/or regulations. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids.
