Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a educational facility.
The Board of Education of Township High School District 214, Cook County, Illinois is accepting bid proposals for the following three schools: Elk Grove H.S., 500 W Elk Grove Blvd. Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Prospect H.S., 801 W Kensington Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056 Buffalo Grove H.S., 1100 W Dundee Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 The project at Buffalo Grove H.S. (Bid Period 2) is for the replacement of Athletic Fields, and the work is consisting of General trades, MEP trades, Earthwork, Site utilities, Concrete paving, Asphalt paving, Fencing, and Landscaping the work for these bid packages are scheduled to take place during the months of June thru October of 2024. The project at Elk Grove H.S. (Bid Period 3) is for the renovations of the Student Services area and is consisting of Demolition, General trades, Drywall, Glazing and MEP Trades, the work for these bid packages are scheduled to take place during the months of June thru September of 2024. The project at Prospect H.S. (Bid Period 4) is for a roof replacement and the work is consisting of roofing bid package only, the work for this bid package is scheduled to take place during the months of June and July of 2024. Prime Trade Agreements for the Work will be assigned to the Construction Manager. All bids must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Bid of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid made payable to Township High School District 214. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the date of Bid Opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment for 100% of the value of the work. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for Cook County and all equal employment practices is required.
