The project is located at Nautical Parking Lot at 985 SE 4th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, installation of an estimated, 2,600 square yards of FDOT Superpave 9.5 asphalt, thermoplastic pavement marking, milling, wheel stop replacement, and leveling of existing asphalt pavement, landscape improvements, irrigation and other items quantified in the proposal pages of this ITB. Material changes, if any, to the scope of services or bidding procedures, will only be transmitted by written addendum. There will not be a pre bid for this project It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to inspect the City's location and become familiar with the scope of the City's requirements and systems prior to submitting a bid. No variation in price or conditions shall be permitted based upon a claim of ignorance. A certified check, cashiers check, bank officers check or bid bond for FIVE percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shall accompany each offer. Bid Bonds: Bidders can submit bid bonds three different ways. Submission of a bid will be considered evidence that the bidder has familiarized himself with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required. The City of Fort Lauderdale reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all bids and to reject any or all bids.
