This is a pre-advertisement notice only of a future project for Broward County. This Pre-Advertisement is intended to ascertain firms' interest in the County's potential solicitation and to obtain additional information to assist with finalizing the County's approach for this project. Broward County will be soliciting proposals from qualified Consultants interested in providing professional consulting services in connection with conducting a Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) study and preliminary engineering design for a proposed fixed guideway system that will originate at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport Intermodal Center (IMC) and runs through Port Everglades to the Convention Center. The Consultant will perform the environmental process required under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), preliminary engineering analysis and design documents, develop Operating & Maintenance costs to support the Financial Plan for the Project, sufficient to obtain clearance from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). We anticipate that this will be advertised in the next 90 days. Q & A deadline: Dec 04, 2023 5:00:00 PM EST
