The Richardson Independent School District (RISD or the District) is located in northern Dallas County, Texas and its boundaries include parts of Richardson, Dallas, and Garland cities. The District currently serves almost 38,000 students in its 4 High Schools, 8 Junior High Schools, 41 Elementary Schools, 1 Non-traditional High School, and 1 Alternative Learning Center. This RFSQ will pre-qualify a roster of Architectural firms from which selection for specific projects or services may be assigned. Companies selected through this process will remain on the pre-qualified roster for one (1) year from date of approval. Any pre-qualified company may be rejected on the basis of subsequently discovered information. The term of this agreement will be effective beginning December 15, 2023, after formal approval by the RISD Board of Trustees (meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 2023), for one (1) year through December 14, 2024, with a possible one (1) year renewal option. All questions received and the corresponding answers will be posted under Messages in the electronic bidding program. No verbal responses will be provided. The deadline for questions about this sealed proposal will be 2:00 PM CST, November 1, 2023. The District may not respond to questions that are submitted after this time and date. Although every effort has been made to provide accurate up-to-date information, responders should submit questions through the electronic bidding program. THE RESPONDERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING FOR ANY POSTED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
