Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Manhasset, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Planned work in 2025 includes the use of existing funds for lighting improvements, building improvements to the Aquatics Activity Center, installation of a shade structure at the dog park and the start of engineering to renovate the basketball courts. Planned work in 2026 would focus on the rehabilitation of the basketball courts. Planned work in 2027 would be the replacement of the asphalt walkways. Planned work in 2028 would be to add a cricket field. Planned work in 2029 would be the installation of a new playground. As of June 20, 2025, this project is included in the Town of North Hempstead's FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed.
