Reference Number 0000333462 The Town of West Springfield is seeking a qualified planning and design consultant (Consultant) to work with the Central Maintenance (CM) and Park and Recreation (P&R) on the design of new playground surfacing and playground replacement(s) at town and school playgrounds. The project includes a redesign including installation of play equipment as well as making other accessibility improvements at 5 locations and resurfacing at 4 locations Question Deadline 11/07/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes, - Questions concerning this Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing to: Jaime Flores at the address above or jflores@tows.org Pre-Bid Walkthrough - There will not be a pre-bid walkthrough. Potential proposers are encouraged to visit the playground areas on their own to familiarize themselves with the sites. Site visits at school playgrounds are prohibited until after 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. The design project budget is not to exceed $120,000.00. There is a total construction budget of $1,180,000 for the work. *which reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of West Springfield.
