Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/04/2023 4:00 PM (PDT) The City of Huntington Beach (City) Community and Library Services Department is soliciting Requests for Quote (RFQ) from qualified firms / contractors / vendors with experience to provide all labor, equipment and materials for multiple community centers facilities janitorial, day porter and related janitorial services. The City reserves the right to re-distribute the community center buildings (change the groupings) as needed to benefit City operations, add or eliminate services and/or City buildings / facilities, and make any other necessary and /or unforeseen adjustments to this RFQ. The Community and Library Services Department intends to award up to four (4) separate five (3) year service agreements with up to two (2) one year optional renewals. All four Community and Library Services janitorial RFQs are posted on Planet Bids with the same schedule of events, same mandatory pre-bid meeting at the same location / time. Firms are invited to submit a quote for one or more of the Community and Library Services facility janitorial services RFQs currently posted on Planet Bids. Successful vendors must provide dedicated staff to Community & Library Services contracts and cannot share (pull away) janitorial staff that is working at other City facilities for the Public Works Department. The City reserves the right to cancel, amend, modify and / or redistribute buildings and / or services needed for one or all Community and Library Services facility janitorial RFQs, if determined to be in the best interest of the City, for any reason.
