Site work, asbestos abatement and new construction of an educational facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 28,836-square-foot, eight-story above grade educational facility.
Stage II tender to the PREQUALIFIED firms only. Current DOCUMENTS are only available at the prequalified firms. Construction of the new Student Wellbeing Centre located at 137 Bond Street. The Project will include the addition of an eight (8) storey mass timber tower connected to the existing three (3) storey heritage building on he site. The University is unable to continue into the construction and tendering phase unless the Construction Cost Estimate provided by the Successful Proponent is within its available construction budget. *Construction budget is unreleased for publication and has been only estimated. The TMU community can expect to see signs of construction, including hoarding around the building site, work crews and a partial lane closure on Bond Street. The partial lane closure will be in effect for the duration of construction, which is expected to be complete by the end of 2026. TMU has selected Pomerleau as construction managers for the project, with an official groundbreaking ceremony to take place later this spring.
