The scope of work generally includes constructing curb ramps at various locations throughout the City of Concord. Work shall include traffic control, pedestrian detours, staging of the work, temporary water pollution control, clearing and grubbing, adjustment of existing water valves, curb and gutter, sidewalk, valley gutter, asphalt concrete removal, installation of hot mix asphalt plugs, pavement marking removal and installation, installation or relocation of signs; and such other items or details that are required by the Plans, Standard Specifications, the Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall possess at least one of the following valid Contractor's licenses at the time the bids are opened: Class "A": General Engineering Contractor, or; Class "C-8": Concrete Contractor. The Contractor shall have completed within the last five years a minimum of three Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects for one or more public agencies; these projects shall involve work of similar type and complexity, each project valued at not less than $200,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
