The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for this project which provides a pavement wedge and overlay on SR1 Coastal Highway, SB Lanes, south of the Indian River Inlet to increase the elevation of the roadway to reduce the severity and frequency of flooding events due to storm and tidal influences. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days. It is estimated a Notice to Proceed is issued such that work starts on or about April 1, 2024.
