Multnomah County ("County") Department of County Assets on behalf of the Facilities and Property Management, is seeking proposals from qualified dealerships ("Supplier") to provide ancillary office furniture (defined as "loose" furniture or non-Systems furniture), installation and related services for ongoing and future projects. The intent would be to work with a dealership that has access to multiple furniture manufacturers that we can access under one Contract. With this solicitation, the County seeks to select ancillary office furniture that will become a standard for County wide use. The furnishings need to be modern, sustainable, modular, customizable, durable, and easily adjustable. They will be chosen for their ability to support a flexible, adaptable and collaborative office environment. The County hopes to achieve a cohesive and professional appearance, attain excellent pricing, and streamline the furniture ordering process. Systems furniture is excluded in this RFP but awarded Suppliers are expected to help coordinate together with our County supplier(s). The successful Supplier will be responsible for working with the County and providing ancillary office furniture including design, research, space planning, delivery and installation, and warranty services. Fixed term with options. The Contract term shall be four (4) years. The County shall have the option to renew this contract for one (1) additional one (1) year period. Multnomah County strongly encourages the participation of Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Emerging Small Businesses and Organizations in providing these services.
