Site work and paving for a civil project in Pemberton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of November 28, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $207,669.55** Davis Street Drainage Improvements The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans of the construction of Davis Street Drainage Improvements located in the Borough of Pemberton, Burlington County, New Jersey, including but not limited to replacement of 24" x 38" RCEP, roadway milling and surface course (HMA9.5M64), traffic striping, and restoration activities. BID: Davis Street Drainage Improvements and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All work shall be completed in accordance with the NJDOT's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, as amended. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. All bidders and the general public are invited to be present for this bid opening. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond. In accordance with P.L. 2021, c. 301 a contractor submitting the lowest bid for a contract that is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, if that bid is 10 percent or more lower than the next lowest bid, to certify to the public body that the prevailing wage rates required by the Act shall be paid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. (Affirmative Action Law); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration Act); and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. (Public Works Contractor Registration Act). The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of Pemberton Borough makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. 1. Providing all necessary traffic directors and traffic control in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The Pemberton Borough Police Department must be contacted for any closure. 2. Excavating or milling the existing cartway, grading and compacting. 3. Install 24" x 38" RCEP including all fittings and joint restraints and granular compacted backfill as shown on the plans. 4. Installing trench repair of 2" thick of HMA 9.5M64 surface course, 6" thick of HMA 19M64 base course, and 6" thick of DGA. 5. Installing 2" (minimum) HMA 9.5M64 surface course. 6. Installing thermoplastic striping and traffic markers at the locations shown on the plans. 7. Resetting castings to proper grade as needed to complete the improvements shown on the plans. 8. Restoring disturbed vegetated/lawn areas. As a minimum, all grassed areas requiring restoration shall be restored with topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. Other materials shall be restored in-kind. 9. Roadway shall be clean and open to traffic at the end of every day. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
