Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; library; and library.
Remove and dispose of six existing poles and lights at the Danville Library parking lot. Re-install new 16' poles with two LED lights per pole. Remove and return to the City, one existing path light near the building and replace with 8' LED post light. Connect to existing analog timer Bid Inquiries: The last day for questions will be Wednesday November 8, 2023, at 5:00 PM Email Carol Henley at purchasing@danvilleva.gov Bonds: 5% Bid bond; 100% performance and payment bonds. Time of Completion: time of completion for this work shall be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the date of a written Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages: $250 dollars per calendar day. Code: A. All work performed shall conform to the Virginia Department of Transportation Standards and Specification (current edition) B. All work shall confirm to the 2017 NEC Retainage: 5% retainage will be held on this contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received.
