Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 12-unit elderly care / assisted living facility.
BC Housing is seeking a Proponent work with BC Housing and external stakeholders including the Vancouver Island Health Authority in assisting to obtain a demolition permit and provide design and construction phase services for a Group Home on a lot that is owned by PRHC (Provincial Rental Housing Corporation). The intent is to demolish existing improvements and build a new Group Home to replace the existing structure. Under the current zoning, permitted use is 2 family dwellings. A duplex is preferred for the new construction. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for prime consulting architectural service is closed; preferred proponent is unreleased. Further update may be available in spring 2025, upon approval.
