Lead Hazard Reduction & Healthy Homes Intervention The Work of Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes Intervention. Two separate bids required. Bids must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope and plainly marked with the name of the Project Title The Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes Intervention 23 Euclid AV and shall contain the name and address of the Bidder on the envelope. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bids in excess of $50,000.00 be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Bid Price. The Bidder to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. Due to the Federal Funding stated above, the two percent (2%) contractor preference granted to Waterbury Bidders required by section 38.42 of the Waterbury Procurement Ordinance does not apply to this request for proposal.
