**As of November 29, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Lapeer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and further reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems to serve the best interest of the City. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Demolish two (2) existing water heaters, hot water recirculation pump, piping and flues located in the Mechanical Penthouse. Install two (2) tankless water heater rack systems, hot water recirculation pump, piping, exhaust flues, intake piping, gas regulators and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Equipment will be lifted to the roof and brought into the space through existing doors to the Mechanical Penthouse. Phasing of work shall be coordinated with the Owner to minimize downtime of domestic hot water supply for the building. Contractor shall be responsible for securing all necessary permits. Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all demolished items and construction waste.
