work including the following estimated quantities and appurtenances: o Pulverizing & Resurfacing of HMA non-motorized trail 1.2 Miles o Concrete Bridge Approaches 8 EA o Drainage Improvements 2 Ea. o Pine Street Crosswalk Improvements 1 Ea. o Trail Widening Sections 2 EA o Additional Sidewalk 216 SFT o Bridge Decking Replacement (Treated Lumber) 50 LF The Lapeer City Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or errors in the bidding process, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the city, including bids that are not for the lowest amount. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be drawn payable to City of Lapeer as security for the acceptance of the Contract and subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders.
