A summary of the work items is included below: Removal and disposal of biosolids from the Athens WWTP sludge holding lagoons. The work for the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made, and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashiers check or bid bond payable to The City of Athens Utilities, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner s judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
