The City of Elgin, Illinois, does hereby invite sealed bids for the replacement of exterior lighting at the Police Facility located at 151 Douglas Ave., Elgin, Illinois. Questions Deadline: 12/1/2023 03:00 PM (CT) For further information, contact Vanessa Scott, Administrative Assistant at (847)931-5652. The bidder will submit, if requested by the City of Elgin, a list of qualified references for projects of similar size and scope of this project. Proposals withdrawn may not be resubmitted at the same letting. Each bidder will satisfy the City of Elgin as to their ability, financially or otherwise, to carry out the work. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive technicalities and any informality in any bid. For further information, contact Daina DeNye, Purchasing Officer at denye_d@cityofelgin.org or Vanessa Scott, Administrative Assistant at scott_v@cityofelgin.org. The bid will be accompanied by a bid bond with surety satisfactory to the City, a certified check, Cashier's check, or bank money order on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid; the bond, check or bank money order will be made payable to the City of Elgin, Illinois and must be in the Purchasing Department at 150 Dexter Court, Elgin, IL by 12 noon on December 6, 2023.
