The Project is described as: the removal and replacement of a failed retaining wall at Dogpatch Miller Memorial Community Garden located at 114 Brewster St., San Francisco, CA 94110. 70' retaining wall 4 - 6' high, Timber lagging, 10 drilled piers 2' dis - 18' deep, steel soldier pile TRADES REQUESTED: DRILLING | STRUCTUAL STEEL | EXCAVATION | PILES AND CAISSONS All questions regarding this project are due no later than Wednesday, October 25, 2023 by 5pm. Questions must be emailed to Gabriel.meil@sfgov.org and cc bridget.webster@sfgov.org This Request for Bid is for the removal and replacement of a failed retaining wall at Dogpatch Miller Memorial Community Garden located at 114 Brewster St., San Francisco, CA 94110. The Request for Bid includes the Scope of Work below and the information included in Attachment 1. This section includes the requirements for the protection of existing trees and shrubs, including entire structure of plant material above and below ground impacted by all demolition and construction work under this contract. B. Contractor is prohibited from stockpiling any excavation or construction materials within the canopy of trees, on lawn areas or near shrubs. C. Contractor shall immediately clean and remove any construction residue that falls within the canopy of a tree or near shrubs.
