This RFP is an invitation by Turner & Townsend, on behalf of Conestoga College for the purpose of the appointment of a suitably qualified and experienced Proponent to provide Construction Management Services for the Guelph Campus Renovation, which is located at 130 Macdonell Street. The successful proponent will enter into a CCDC 5B contract with Conestoga and will provide the services outlined in the RFP. Conestogas vision for the building is to create a comprehensive campus integrated into the downtown core. The intent is for the building to serve an enrollment population of up to 5,000 full-time post-secondary students. The building is 10-storeys and approximately 150,000sf in size. The project is currently under the Concept Design stage, and we are seeking for the right partner to support the consultants and the College to ensure that all selected design aspects for this project considers the actual condition of the building, constructability of it, cost effectiveness, etc. During the construction phase the successful Team will provide full-time site administration to ensure adherence to the established construction schedule, budget, and scope.
