Val Verde County is requesting competitive sealed bids from contractors for removal of an existing elevator and prepping site for the installation of a new elevator at Fitzpatrick Building, 309 Mill St., Del Rio Tx. The successful Bidder must be able to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Awarded contractor will be required to furnish bonds within thirty (30) days from the contract date and before any commencement of work.
