The Temecula Valley Unified District ("District") is seeking proposals from prequalified General Building Contractors (CSLB license B) for thermostats and carbon dioxide monitor installation, documentation, repair and maintenance, controls upgrades, reporting, and verification to be funded by the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency ("CalSHAPE") Ventilation Program enacted under Assembly Bill 841. AB 841 provides grants to school districts to assess, maintain, adjust, repair, or upgrade heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in schools. The District is seeking to work in conjunction with the selected Contractor to ensure the stable operation of the system through modification and/or replacement of the system within allotted CalSHAPE funding. Turn key project consisting of construction management overseeing thermostat and carbon dioxide monitor installation, documentation, repair and maintenance, controls upgrades, reporting and verification in compliance with CalSHAPE Program Guidelines. Firm will need to secure sub-contractors, if necessary, to do work in compliance with Public Works contracting. The project is located on occupied school sites.
