Renovation of a stadium in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Upgrades and repairs to the Salaberry arena located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The scope of the project provides for replacement and modernization of the building mechanical systems. The project involves, among other things, replacing the current ammonia ice refrigeration equipment with a screw chiller system using R-513A refrigerant as well as updating the ventilation and control systems. TIMELINE: The project is implemented by construction packages. The construction package relating to the upgrades to the ice cooling system has been already tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Replacement of the Ice Cooling System Salaberry Arena. Construction is underway. Subsequent package tenders will be followed if/when they are issued in new separate reports. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
