SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of: Indoor inspections to verify water service line material inside approximately 307 private buildings, including property owner coordination and scheduling, and Underground inspections to verify water service line material on each side of the curb stop of approximately 323 water service lines, including excavation and backfill, and removal and restoration of all surfaces as necessary. BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of Rockford in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of 90 days after the receipt of bids. PROJECT SCHEDULE The project is intended to follow the following schedule: o Contract Award: November 13, 2023 o Substantial Completion: March 31, 2023 o Final Completion: May 31, 2024
