Site work for a civil project in Rockford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing improvements to Pinehurst Lift Station, including the following: Two (2) pumps, 4-inch piping and valves, air release manhole, 6-inch bypass connection, control panel and pad, and precast structure lids. All associated demolition, equipment, electrical, instrumentation, controls, bypass operation, site work, and restoration. The work to be performed under this contract will be paid for with local funds. Question Deadline 09/12/2024 The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter. Construction activities are to begin as soon as possible following contract award. It is the intent of the Owner to consider award of the contract to the successful bidder at the September 23,2024, Township Board Meeting. The work covered by the Contract Documents consists of improvements to Pinehurst Lift Station, located at 7041 Pinehurst Lane, Rockford, MI 49341. Included in this work is furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, activities and related costs necessary for completing the improvements. B. The Contractor must visit the site of the work and must completely inform himself relative to construction hazards and procedure, labor, and all other conditions and factors, local and otherwise, which would affect execution and completion of the work and its cost. Such considerations must include the arrangement and condition of the existing structures and facilities, the availability and cost of labor and facilities for transportation, handling and storage of materials and equipment. All such factors must be properly investigated and considered in the preparation of the Contractor's proposal. There will be no subsequent financial adjustment for lack of such prior information. C. The Contractor must guarantee all equipment and work for one year from the date of substantial completion.
