Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Rockford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: A new pedestrian park including earth excavation, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete paving, permeable pavers, ledge stone walls, subbase, aggregate base, HMA paving, pavement markings, traffic signs, lighting, irrigation, natural gas fireplace, and all necessary appurtenances and landscape plantings and restoration. The city will provide site furniture and lighting for installation by the Contractor. Digital drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible through the Prein&Newhof Plan Room only to active members. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, digital or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof The work to be performed under this contract will be paid for with State and local funds. Federal Davis Bacon wage rates no not apply to this contract. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Rockford in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids. Award of contract is anticipated at the November 11, 2024 City Council meeting. Work may commence upon receipt of Notice to Proceed issued in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work shall be substantially complete by May 15, 2025.
