The successful contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of all of the identified ACM per the design documents from the existing building before demolition can begin. The removal of any non-ACM materials that is in the path of their ACM removal is also a part of their scope. All of those non-ACM materials that they remove are to be placed in the designated area of the courtyard at that campus. Anticipated Budget $ 100,000.00 Liquidated Damages $ 500.00 (per day) A contract entered into as a result of an award by the District under this Solicitation must be available to begin providing goods and/or services starting on January 2, 2024 and continue to be valid until completion of this project on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. These dates are subject to change The District shall have the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any technicalities in the best interest of the District. A Payment and Performance Bond shall be required on individual projects of $25,000.00 or more. Bonds shall be made and payable to and its form approved by the owner in accordance to Texas Government Code 2253.021 (a through g). Bonds will be due within 10 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.
