OPWDD's Long Island DDSO intends to procure service to Replace Roofing (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6). This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Contractor is responsible to verify all measurements and quantities. All work to be completed to AHJ codes and regulations. 2. Construction drawing, sketches, and or plans maybe supplied and are to be followed along with the scope. 3. Remove and dispose all roofing (Approx. 3000 sqft), and all related materials and accessories. 4. Replace any rotted roof deck sheathing with new 5/8" thick exterior grade plywood sheathing (approx.10 sheets). 5. Furnish and install ice and water adhesive membrane shield (or equal) over entire roof deck sheathing. 6. Furnish and install new drip edge around entire roof edges. 7. Furnish and install Timberline HDZ asphalt shingles, color Pewter, (or equivalent) and install new ridge venting. 8. All roofing materials, accessories, installation method and fastening shall be installed following manufacturers' requirements. 9. Furnish and install new roof boots and aluminum flashing and caulking around chimneys, all vent pipes, all penetrations or where required for prevention of water infiltration. Caulk/flash cement were required for water tight seal. 10. Contractor shall provide a (1) year workmanship and thirty (30) year material warranty. 11. Contractor will supply any third party inspections and certifications were required. 12. All work to be done, to NYS building codes and regulations. 13. OPWDD is the AHJ for the site.
