Site work and renovation of a civil project in Challis, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work includes: A 300,000 gallon partially buried castin-place concrete tank, a wood framed booster station, a groundwater well pump (the well has already been drilled) and wood framed well house, rehabilitation of two existing well houses, 1,700 feet of transmission waterline, associated site piping, excavation, electrical controls, HVAC, and all associated components and appurtenances. All communications relative to this work shall be directed to the Engineer (Colter Hollingshead, Keller Associates, 208- 238-2146) prior to the opening of the Bid Proposals. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified cashiers check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Challis in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Any contract awarded under this Invitation to Bid is funded in part by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) and the City of Challis. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting contract. Before a contract will be awarded, compliance with all DEQ/EPA requirements specified in the Contract Documents will be subject to the funding agency's review and approval. Bidder will be required to meet Davis-Bacon wage requirements and American Iron and Steel requirements (AIS). Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of Challis reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Challis. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
