The scope of this project is to renovate existing space, to create visual and physical connection to the Dining Center J2 on the second level and First Floor JCL while improving the overall vertical circulation flow, to add a conveyor system to transport dishes from the first level JCL dining to the basement dish room. Construction is to take place in Phases. Phase I during Summer 2024 to install a new dish room conveyor system. Phase II during the Summer of 2025 is to build an elevator and the stairs connecting the first and second levels.. The mission of the University of Texas at Austin is to achieve excellence in the interrelated areas of undergraduate education, graduate education, research and public service. Estimated construction value of the Project will range between $3,300,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Jester City Limits is located on the ground floor of Jester Center. It provides an array of food lines. It is located right below the Jester Dining Center and above the dish room in the basement. The first level Jester City Limits (JCL) does not currently have a dedicated dish room. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
