Demolition is defined as the demolition and removal of building, basements, and foundations, as well as the demolition and removal of site improvements, including but not limited to retaining walls, paving and foundation landscaping. Scope of Work. CITY seeks sealed proposals from qualified Bidders to provide demolition services regarding the Building identified above Term of Contract. The Demolition Agreement awarded pursuant to this INVITATION shall be for a contract period up to 18 months, with the possibility of an extension for good cause shown The following demolition specifications shall apply to all proposals from Bidders and shall specifically be incorporated by reference in any Demolition Agreement executed by the CITY and a Bidder: A. Bidder shall demolish and remove the Building, which shall include basements and foundations. B. Bidder shall demolish and remove all site improvements, including but not limited to retaining walls, paving and foundation landscaping. Any existing trees 4 or more in diameter and located five (5) feet or more from the Building shall remain and be protected during demolition. C. Bidder shall remove and legally dispose of all building materials and demolition debris, except those indicated to be reinstalled, salvaged by Bidder, or to remain the CITY's property.
