**As of December 26, 2023, project was awarded to World Sports Turf & Marketing, LLC , awarded amount is $54,527.38.** The City of Melbourne is requesting bids from qualified firms for the removal of existing sod and clay, re-grading, and installation of new Bermuda sod of the McGrath Baseball Field East Infield. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. CONTRACTOR must laser survey existing elevations for sod area and clay to determine a plan for falls to tie into existing perimeter elevations and new clay elevations. B. CONTRACTOR must size infield, outsized skinned outfield edge, home plate location, and pitcher’s mound to be per Little League Junior dimensions. C. CONTRACTOR must rough laser grade sod cut area to get existing aggregate in proper place. D. CONTRACTOR must rough grade additional soil mix and rototill if necessary. E. CONTRACTOR must rough grade clay area, put in excess clay into piles on clay infield, approximately 70-100 yards. CITY to remove excess clay. F. CONTRACTOR must rototill clay area. G. CONTRACTOR must final laser/contour grade clay to a uniform and consistent grade. H. CONTRACTOR must final laser/contour grade running lanes to a uniform and consistent grade. I. CONTRACTOR must final laser/contour infield sod cut area to a uniform and consistent grade. J. CONTRACTOR must final laser/contour outfield arch sod cut area to a uniform and consistent grade. K. CONTRACTOR must final laser/contour grade sod cut wing areas to a uniform and consistent grade. L. CONTRACTOR must rebuild pitcher’s mound, install new rubber (supplied by CITY), packing clay installed in high water areas. M. CONTRACTOR must rebuild home plate area and install new home plate (supplied by CITY). N. CONTRACTOR must prepare sod area for the installation of sod. O. CONTRACTOR must supply and install Big Roll Bermuda grass in sod cut work area. Must be Certified Tif-Way or Tif-Tuf. P. CONTRACTOR must replace sod in the infield and approximately 21 beyond the outside skinned edge. Q. CONTRACTOR must roll sod with roller after installation Question Deadline 11/14/2023 at 2:00 PM ET
