The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select a qualified Contractor to replace two (2) existing fiber runs. Question Deadline 12/07/2023 The selected Contractor shall replace two fiber runs within the City of DeLand, with three (3) possible options. Locations and specifications for each are below. 1. Fiber Run 1 Police Department 219 W Howry Ave., DeLand, FL 32720 Water Plant #2 325 W Wisconsin Ave., DeLand, FL 32720 Parks & Recreation Administrative Building 230 N Stone St., DeLand, FL 32720 The first 12 strand SM fiber run will connect the Police Department to Water Plant #2 and then to the Parks & Recreation Administrative Building. New fiber must run 3 pair into and out of each site, terminating at the Parks & Recreation Administrative Building IDF. 2. Fiber Run 2 Police Department 219 W Howry Ave., DeLand, FL 32720 Chisholm Center 520 S Clara Ave., DeLand, FL 32720 Sanborn Activity Center 815 S Alabama Ave., DeLand, FL 32724 Public Services Complex 1102 S Garfield Ave., DeLand, FL 32724 The second 32 strand SM fiber run will connect the Police Department to the Chisholm Center, then to the Sanborn Center ending with a handhold at the Public Services Complex new administrative building. New fiber must run 4 pair into and out of each site, terminating at the Public Services Complex IDF. Option 1 Public Services Complex 1102 S Garfield Ave., DeLand, FL 32724 6 Strand MM Fiber run from the Public Services Facility IDF to the fuel pumps. Option 2 Spec Martin Sports Complex 260 E Euclid Ave., DeLand, FL 32724 Add connection and LIU in and out of replaced Fiber between the Chisholm Center and the Sanborn Activity Center for the Spec Martin Sports Complex in Fiber Run 2. Option 3 City Hall 120 S Florida Ave., DeLand, FL 32720 Replace existing Fiber with 12 Strand SM Fiber between the Police Department and City hall.
