Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Deadline to Request additional information/clarification: Wednesday, November 15,2023 at 5:00 PM The Work consists of furnishing all materials, controls, labor, services, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to construct, install, restore, and/or repair the existing community center. For grant funding purposes, the Project shall be bid in two (2) phases. Phase one (1) shall consist of renovation work in the existing building, including the demolition of the current warming kitchen, and the construction the following new areas: corridor, classroom, pantry, kitchen, cleaning station, computer lab, storage, janitor closet, men's room, women's room, dumpster, generator room, parking lot, SW 3 rd Street side courtyard, fire lane vehicle access, and delivery/dumpster driveway. Phase two (2) shall include, but is not limited to, the construction of a new exercise room, classroom, breezeway, and open courtyard. The scope of the facility's improvements includes, but is not limited to: Demolition: Complete removal of existing windows, doors, and equipment as specified in the Plans. This includes associated partitions, walls, frames, hardware, fencing, ductwork, controls, accessories, piping, and other related items. Exterior Roadways and Parking Areas: Removal and replacement of exterior roadways, drives, and parking areas. Perimeter Fencing: Full removal and replacement of existing fencing at the north and south perimeters. Concrete Curbs: Installation of new concrete curbs for all new equipment. Exterior Walls: Patching and repair of existing exterior stucco, followed by a new skim coat and paint finish to match the new walls. Fire Alarm System: Installation of a new fire alarm system. Sprinkler System: Installation of a new sprinkler system. Windows and Doors: Removal and replacement of all existing windows and doors with new systems bearing product approvals. Restrooms: Replacement of all existing restroom fixtures in kind, along with the addition of new ADA and code-compliant restrooms. Roofing System: The Contractor shall provide a deduct alternate breakout price for a new asphalt shingle roofing system. The price should encompass the full range of manufacturer colors and finishes, along with the complete removal and replacement of all existing insulation, decking, and similar components. Electrical Systems: Removal and replacement of all electrical systems, including conduits, receptacles, switches, and other associated elements. Mechanical Systems: Removal and replacement of all mechanical systems, such as AHUs, condensers, ductwork, and related components. Synthetic Turf Area: The base bid includes the installation of a new synthetic turf area as described in the Contract Documents, including the relevant drawings and specifications. Alternative Landscape: The Contractor shall provide a deduct alternate breakout price for the exclusion of synthetic turf and the installation of sod and grass landscape in the same area. Emergency Generator: The base bid includes the installation of an emergency generator as detailed in the Contract Documents, including the relevant drawings and specifications. Alternative Generator: The Contractor shall provide a deduct alternate breakout price for the exclusion of the emergency generator and the concrete curb. Project construction cost is approximately $7.5 Million. The full Scope of Work is detailed in the construction drawings project documents
