The Consultant will be expected to provide Road Safety Audit (RSA) services for the four intersections on Moscow Road in Jackson County. These intersections include Hanover Road, Hatch Road, Sears Road, and Horton/Mathews Road These are among the highest-traveled rural intersections in Jackson County and have a history of high-speed angle and rear-end crashes. Moscow Road is a link between the Jackson and Hillsdale Counties, and is the only rural minor arterial in Jackson County. As a result, it has a history of high speeds and a large percentage of commercial traffic relative to other rural roads. Anticipated Service Start Date: November 22, 2023 Anticipated Service Completion Date: January 22, 2023 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. PROJECT LOCATION: Influence area at four intersections along Moscow Road, which include Hanover Road, Hatch Road, Sears Road, and Horton/Mathews Road in Hanover and Spring Arbor Townships in Jackson County.
