A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Town of Navassa Water Distribution System Rehabilitation A general description of the work includes, without limitation: o Install approximately nine thousand one hundred and sixty (9,160) linear feet of 6" waterline and associated appurtenances as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. o Install 12" waterline and associated appurtenances at interconnection with Brunswick County and Town of Navassa systems as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. o Install approximately fifteen (15) flushing devices on dead end waterline sections as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. o Replace in part, or whole approximately thirty six (36) fire hydrant assemblies as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. Contractor to properly dispose of existing hydrants and associated material. o Installation of one (1) 6" meter vault and associated appurtenances along Old Mill Road as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. o Installation of one (1) 4" meter vault and associated appurtenances along Royster Road as per Brunswick County Specifications and Standard Details. o Exercise approximately fifty (50) water distribution system valves. o Install one (1) advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) base station at the Northeast Wastewater Treatment Plant.
