Etowah Arts Commission Office, Gem Theater Repair/replace Damaged Flooring System The City of Etowah is requesting quotes/estimates to repair and/or replace the flooring system (joists, substrate and finish flooring) in the Etowah Arts Office Building. The wooden floor is currently in disrepair and would require some removal and moisture remediation. The City of Etowah will consider quotes for a partial or full demolition and replacement with a commercial grade flooring system. All options as to flooring construction and material will be considered including but not limited to repairing the existing joist and subfloor system, replacing the floor with a newly constructed joist and subfloor system, and backfilling with subfloor with gravel and finishing with polished concrete. The office has approximately 1068 square feet of floor space. The office is located at 700 Tennessee Avenue in the north corner of the Gem Theater in Etowah, TN 37331. All Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and related amendments thereto, with all bid submittals conforming to the State of Tennessee requirements. Payment Bond (if using subcontractors) and Performance Bond will be required. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein.
