Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in St Simons Is, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
"As of February 9, 2024, no bids received. A timeline for the rebid date of this project is not yet available." The successful Bidder shall provide all skill; labour, material, and equipment for the construction of paved parking, stormwater infrastructure, and a new underground detention facility at Mallery Park on Saint Simons Island. Location of underground services/utilities shall be identified prior to any digging/trenching. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications. Mallery Park baseball fields are a heavily used public amenity. A separate project to upgrade the baseball fields in the interior of the park is in the planning and design phase. This advertisement is for the construction of a new parking lot on the northside of the baseball fields with underground detention underneath the proposed parking. Additional work includes installation of RCP storm water pipe and paving existing unpaved parking along the west side of Mallery Street.
