The Village of Windsor will receive sealed bids to design, procure and install playground equipment at Millstone Heights Park located at 3842 Sunny Wood Drive, DeForest, WI. Date of substantial completion for the above work is June 30, 2024. The work shall consist of the design, procurement and installation of all materials necessary to construct a playground including border and fall zone material, as set forth in the Bid Specifications dated October 18, 2023. The maximum dollar amount allocated to the project is $65,000.00. Any bid more than $65,000.00 will be automatically rejected. The Village of Windsor reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities and informalities therein, and accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the Village. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Village of Windsor for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of closing bids. This is an existing playground site. (see attached picture of site) The site currently has an Ages 1- 5 play structure and swing set. Previous Ages 5-12 play structure has been removed. The proposed play structure should be in primary colors to match existing 1-5 age structure. A 42 x 42 foot play area remains with some fall zone material. New border and additional fall zone material for the playground area are part of the scope of the project. There is some room to extend the play area beyond 42x42 if needed. Scope of Work includes but not limited to: o Minimum 42' x 42' area o Minimum 5" posts o 1 or more slide elements o Multi-level elements o Play activity panel(s) o Climber element - variety of climbers o 1 bench with back o Black plastic borders to surround Perimeter of Fall Zone with one entrance ramp o Fall Zone Material - Engineered Wood Fiber
