Reference Number AB-2023-06409 Hazardous Tree Removal Services, Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park, Little Bow Provincial Park, Park Lake Provincial Park - Hourly Work Wyndham-Carseland, Little Bow, Park Lake Provincial Parks Alberta Forestry and Parks (Parks Division) operates numerous parks and recreation areas in the South Region of Alberta. These Parks include Wyndham- Carseland Provincial Park (70km south east of Calgary), Little Bow Provincial Park (40km south east of the Town of Vulcan) and Park Lake Provincial Park (14km north of Lethbridge). All three of these Parks have multiple mature deciduous and conifer trees in need of tree care and possible removals. This contract will include pruning, grubbing, hazardous tree removals, and brush clearing, stump grinding, chipping and disposal. Alberta Parks objective is to have a qualified tree care services contractor in place in order to call upon their services whenever needed to keep the parks tree inventory in a safe and healthy condition. COPE OF WORK: 1. Mobilization: Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park, Little Bow Provincial Park and Park Lake Provincial Park. 2. Labour, Materials and Equipment: All required labour, materials, equipment, and tools will be provided by the contractor. All waste material must be properly disposed of off-site. 3. Description of Work: This contract will cover a variety of tree care services as identified above under Project Background. Work is required to be completed between the dates provided below. Vendors who are unable to meet the timeline requirement will not be considered. PROJECT START DATE: November 22, 2023 PROJECT COMPLETION DATE: March 31, 2024
