It Operates an Outdoor Municipal Pool (Bohn Pool) in Riverside Park. Riverside is a Large Park Adjacent to a Regional Trail System and the River Raisin. The Current Location is Within the Influence of Groundwater. the Pool Facility Was Built in 1972. The Pool Includes a Lap Pool, a Cross-direction Lap Lane Area, a Diving Area, a Slide, and a Shallow Area for Casual Use. Support Facilities Include a Bathhouse and a Filter Building. the Facilities Are All Quite Dated at This Point Project Description: The City of Adrian, Michigan, Requests Qualifications and Fees for the Planning, Design, and Construction Document Services for the Construction/renovation of the Bohn Pool Aquatic Center. The Consultant Shall Work Collaboratively With the City to Guide the Technical Design Elements of the Several Desired Project Phases. Consultant Shall Provide Industry-leading Design Solutions, Including Updated Construction Techniques and Effective Support Infrastructure. The Plan Should Cover a Site Review as Well as Ensure All Local, State, and Federal Guidelines Are Being Followed Regarding Public Pool Renovation and Design. Additionally, Services Are Requested in the Design of Bid Specs Upon the City's Readiness to Send Out the Project to Bid, Using the City of Adrian's Competitive Bid Process. Design Work is Anticipated to Begin as Soon as a Contract Between the City of Adrian and the Awarded Firm Can Be Negotiated. Anticipated Scope of Work: 1. Site Analysis and Program Development 2. Schematic Design 3. Development Phasing Plan and Cost Estimates 4. Development Construction Documents 5. Rfp/bid Documents 6. Present Drawings and Concepts to the Adrian City Commission and City Administration 7. Provide Ongoing Project Consultation to City Administration and Awarded Contractor Award of Contract/rejection of Proposals: The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Firm That Provides a Proposal Most Responsive to Meeting the Project's and City of Adrian's Needs. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Statements and Waive Any Irregularity in Statements Received Whenever Such Rejection or Waiver is in the City's Best Interest. the Firm to Whom the Award is Made Will Be Notified as Soon as Possible. All Firms Submitting Statements Will Be Notified When the Award is Made. The City Will Reject All Proposals That Do Not Meet the Above-mentioned Instructions to Consultants.
